{Breaking News and a SNEAKY PEEKY}

Okay, first of all....my {REAL} website is now LIVE! I am so excited to be able to finally have a {REAL} proofing gallery complete with a shopping cart. That was the biggest reason that I took the plunge and bought the site. It got really old having to figure out the difference between my filenames and the filenames photobucket gives my pictures. What a joke. Anywho, I can't wait to use it! Saturday night was a BLAST. I don't think I have ever witnessed that many people having that much fun at a wedding. Honestly. It was awesome, and SO beautiful, I took WAY too many pictures and for the first time ever used up 5 GB 2 hours before the reception was even over. What can I say, I am shutter-happy. (you know, like "trigger happy"?) Chris and Ana looked so happy and yes I cried. I have never NOT cried at a wedding. It isn't possible. I mean, I get to spend time with these couples taking engagements and bridals prior to the wedding day and I get to know them and get to watch their love stories unfold before my lense. What an amazing opportunity to witness the joining of two lives, two totally different backgrounds. I got to know Chris and AnaLee pretty well over the last few months and what an honor it is to say that I know them. They were so easy to work with and so much fun! Thanks so much you two for letting me take part in your AMAZING day. I wish you both happiness for years and years and years!! (that's years times 3=forever!)

This is Tate. So sweet, he pretty much slept through the entire session, unless I took his pacifier away. I learned pretty quickly that was unacceptable!

Lisa, we did the best we could, right? This was pretty much the best shot. We tried, we did.

My (semi)official website is up and running! My blog is getting too full and too complicated for general viewing so I created a "real" website(yeah, mostly ALL by myself!) It isn't the one that I REALLY wanted, that one is a couple of months away, but this one works okay for now-minus the beautiful ads on the top(that's what you get with free hosting!) :( !! {Things I miss}

I am feeling so homesick for the south lately..maybe it's the freezing cold temperatures here, or the dry fridgid air, but I brought out some pictures tonight that I took down south in good old warm, sunny, moist Atlanta and they brought backa lot of emotions! Just thought I'd share. Spring WILL come I know it! Does anyone know if Punxatawney Phil saw his shadow?

Things I miss...

The mist from the pool on a really hot day...The vivid green of all the plants....The 'shrooms...(LOL a joke I share with myself)The CLOUDS!!! I became a very avid cloud watcher while I was down there..always watching the sky for hints of tornados!The flowers..there is something different about the flowers down south, I guess it must be the way the humidity aids them in releasing their scent so much more potently than here in Utah.The sunsets!!! Seriously, every night.Again, the flowers. There is no smell like that of the southern magnolia in bloom, enough to take your breath away!

It is amazing how spending half a year in a place can make it feel like home.
